Lisa B. Rosenberg, M.Ed., MSW, LSW, CSSW is a licensed child and family therapist*, founder of Safe & Included,LLC, and co-founder of the Food Allergy Behavioral Health Association (FABHA). Lisa’s professional experience as a high school Biology teacher, camp director, School Social Worker/Child Study Team Member, and a Child and Family therapist, paired with her personal experience as a parent to two children with multiple food allergies AND an adult LIVING with food allergies, allow her to provide a unique and comprehensive perspective of food allergies. As a clinician at Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) of Southern New Jersey, Lisa provides services to clients with a wide variety of psychotherapeutic needs. However, her clinical focus is food allergy counseling. At JFCS, Lisa works with food-allergic individuals, as well as their families and caregivers, to help manage the psychosocial impact of living with food allergies. With her company Safe and Included, Lisa provides food allergy education and support to individuals, families and caregivers, school districts, camps, physicians, hospitals, community organizations, businesses, and restaurants across the country to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals living with food allergies in ALL aspects of life.
In addition to counseling and consulting, Lisa is the co-founder of the Food Allergy Behavioral Health Association (FABHA) alongside Tamara Hubbard, LCPC. FABHA is a professional association for licensed clinicians who are committed to improving the lives of anyone impacted by food allergies. Members of FABHA collaborate to provide evidence-based, quality, client-centered care within the food allergy community. Lisa is also a provider listed on the Food Allergy Counselor Directory, has served as a national expert faculty member for the American Academy of Pediatrics Medical Home Chapter Champions Program on Asthma, Allergy and Anaphylaxis (MHCCPAAA), and most recently, was featured in a Food Allergy Documentary which is scheduled to be released, nationally, in May 2019.
