Sharon Wong lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two teenaged sons. She’s a food allergy advocate and Nut Free Asian recipe blogger at Nut Free Wok. She was inspired by attending the inaugural FABlogCon that people really want to enjoy nut free Asian food and launched her blog with a lot of support from like-minded advocates and bloggers. Sharon has been a food allergy mom since 2006, juggling asthma, eczema, and environmental allergies as well. She has helped with local food allergy walk events in her community and supported California’s stock epi legislation. Sharon’s son successfully completed a peanut patch trial and an OIT follow up study, both of which have been life-changing for him. Sharon loves to spend time with her family and friends, with special consideration for people who will play mahjong, enjoy escape rooms, or eat durian with her.
