Stacey Sturner is a 20-year marketing communications veteran with a special interest in health care and medical research. After her youngest child was diagnosed with a food allergy, she turned her attention to advocacy by launching the popular patient and parent forum, Food Allergy Treatment Talk(FATT). Through this initiative and its sister blog, Chew the FATT, Stacey became passionate about food allergy research and the search for a cure. Likewise, she applied her zeal to help conceptualize and coordinate the inaugural Food Allergy Conference for Education and Science (FACES), hosted by Science & Outcomes of Allergy & Asthma Research (SOAAR) Program at Northwestern Medicine/Lurie Children’s Hospital. Stacey also serves as Mission Ambassador of End Allergies Together (EAT) and Assistant Executive Director of Human Paratuberculosis Foundation (HPF) for Crohn’s disease research.
